About RLC SOFT

RLC SOFT is the result of a lifelong passion for programming, technology, and creating solutions to real-world problems.

My programming journey began at a young age in the 1980s on a TI-99/4A home computer. I started with Logo, TI BASIC, TI Extended BASIC, and TI Assembly. Back then, there were no app stores, massive software libraries, or instant online tutorials. When something was not good enough, I would pull out the graph paper, design something better, and figure out how to program it myself. That process of imagining, designing, experimenting, and building became the foundation of everything that followed.

During high school, I continued developing my skills and competed in numerous ACM programming competitions. Those experiences strengthened my ability to think logically, solve complex problems, and create working solutions under pressure.

Over the years, I continued learning and working with technologies including Assembly, QBasic, Visual Basic, Pascal, PHP, C, HTML, and other programming languages and development platforms.

My professional career eventually took me into retail and automotive management, where I spent approximately 30 years. Even while managing businesses, teams, customers, and daily operations, I never stopped programming. I continued learning, experimenting, and finding time to build and tinker with technology.

That interest eventually expanded beyond traditional software and into electronics and embedded systems. I began programming microcontrollers and developing projects using platforms such as Arduino and ESP32, connecting software to physical devices and real-world applications.

Then came the artificial intelligence revolution.

AI changed what was possible. Combined with decades of programming knowledge, business-management experience, and practical problem-solving, these new tools made it possible to develop ideas faster, automate complex processes, and create solutions that once would have required entire development teams.

I first began using RLCSOFT as my programming handle in 1998. What started as a personal identity for my programming projects has now become RLC SOFT LLC—the continuation of a journey that began with a TI-99/4A, a stack of graph paper, and the belief that when something is not good enough, you can build something better.

Today, RLC SOFT LLC combines traditional programming experience, modern artificial intelligence, automation, embedded electronics, and decades of real-world business knowledge to develop practical and innovative technology solutions.

We do not build technology simply because it is new. We build technology that is useful, purposeful, and designed to solve real problems.
